Connect Claude to your Dropify store (MCP)
Dropify connects your store to AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, Claude can read your sales, orders, products, pages and themes, and make changes when you ask: add or edit products and discounts, write landing pages and blog posts, update order status, edit your theme and more.
It also works with ChatGPT, Gemini and any other assistant that supports remote MCP servers.
- Server URL:
https://mcp.mydropify.shop/mcp - Authentication: OAuth 2.0 (authorization code with PKCE, dynamic client registration)
- Who can connect: owners and admins of a Dropify store, on any plan
- Support: support@dropify.shop
- Privacy policy: https://dropify.shop/privacy-policy/
Connect Claude
Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
- Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- Name it Dropify and paste
https://mcp.mydropify.shop/mcpas the URL. - Click Add, then Connect.
- Sign in with your Dropify account.
- On the consent screen, choose the store and the permissions to give Claude, then click Approve.
Claude is now connected to that store. To connect another store, add the connector again and pick the other store.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http dropify https://mcp.mydropify.shop/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Authenticate to sign in.
ChatGPT and Gemini
Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://mcp.mydropify.shop/mcp and OAuth authentication, then finish the Dropify sign-in.
Permissions you choose
The consent screen lets you decide what the assistant can do. Each connection only ever sees the one store you picked.
| Permission | What it allows | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | Sales totals, order counts and ad performance. Never customer names, phones or addresses. | On |
| Products | Read and change products, offers and discount codes. | On |
| Landing pages | Read, write and publish landing pages, blog posts and legal pages. | On |
| Orders | Read orders and abandoned checkouts. | On |
| Change orders | Confirm, cancel, change status, add tracking or notes, recover abandoned checkouts. | On |
| Customer details | Read buyers' names, phone numbers and emails. | Off |
| Spend coins on ads and creatives | Generate ad plans and AI images or videos, which cost coins. | Off |
| Store settings | Change store details, branding and shipping, install apps and adjust app options. | On |
| Themes | Read and edit your theme structure and colors. | On |
The assistant can never touch domains, payment credentials, API keys or pixel IDs, and can never hand an order to a courier.
What happens when you ask for a change
- Most changes apply right away, because you asked for them in the chat. That covers editing a price, rewriting a page or confirming an order.
- Some actions always wait for your approval in Dropify → AI proposals:
- anything that spends coins, such as an ad plan or an AI image or video
- turning on an agent that bills per conversation or call, such as AI Confirm or the WhatsApp agent
- installing an app
- Every change is recorded in AI proposals with the connection that made it and the time, so you can review your history.
Example prompts
- "How did my store do this week compared with last week?"
- "Show the orders from the last three days that are still pending."
- "Create a product called Wireless Earbuds Pro at 299 MAD and use these three images."
- "Write a landing page for my best-selling product with a 20% launch offer."
- "Which abandoned checkouts from today are worth following up?"
- "Change my theme's main color to dark green."
Manage or disconnect
Open Dropify → Store settings → MCP protocol to see every connected assistant and revoke any connection. You can also remove the connector inside Claude at any time.
Data and privacy
- The assistant only sees the store you connected, and only while the connection is active.
- Each connection has its own OAuth token. Revoking it stops access immediately.
- Buyer names, phone numbers and emails stay hidden unless you turn on Customer details.
- Dropify does not store or read your conversations with the assistant. What you type in the assistant follows that provider's own privacy policy.
- Requests are rate-limited per store, and writes are capped per hour.
Full details are in our privacy policy: https://dropify.shop/privacy-policy/
Troubleshooting
- "Connection failed" after signing in: choose a store on the consent screen. An account without a store cannot connect.
- The assistant says it is not allowed to do something: that permission was off when you connected. Disconnect, connect again and turn it on.
- A change does not appear on your store: open AI proposals. Coin spending, billed agents and app installs wait for your approval there.
- Anything else: email support@dropify.shop with your store name and what you asked the assistant.
